Avoca Park offers accommodation for any visitor – whether you are wanting to find a comfortable place to stay in the area, or you are a rider looking to visit Avoca Park with your steed or are one of the many participants in the workshops and courses at our property! Our accommodation includes the shared ‘Bunkhouse’, the ‘Private Bedroom’ attached to the bunkhouse, our ‘Apartment’ and ‘The Room With A View’. Our Room with a View is surrounded by native gardens and trees, creating a beautiful and uniquely Australian outlook. The stylishly decorated apartment features a flat-screen TV with DVD player and movie collection. It has access to a shared modern kitchen and bathroom. Our bunkhouse is the perfect setup for a group of friends or a family looking for a good value country getaway. It can accommodate a total of ten guests in two separate bedrooms – one bedroom has two single beds (which can be converted to a double) and the other bedroom has 4 bunks, allowing for 8 people. Each bedroom has an entrance doorway to the well appointed, communal bathroom. You can look after all your needs in house with a fully equipped kitchen suitable to cook anything up to and including a Christmas dinner! The lounge area has a 42″ flat screen TV, DVD player and stereo if you just want to relax. Surrounded by beautiful Paulownia trees the bunkhouse is well protected from the sun in summer and warmed by effective heating in the cooler months. There is an under cover outdoor sitting area with BBQ and heater which is a popular spot to read or watch the passing horsey goings on from. Being a working equestrian property, there is the opportunity to have a riding lesson or two on one of our priceless schoolhorses and/or ponies, supported by well trained and experienced professional instructors. Our local town of Emerald is a 10 minute drive and has many lovely cafes and restaurants and is a pitstop to the historical steam train Puffing Billy which runs daily. Locally we have rail trails for bike riding and National Parks for walkers. Being part of the Yarra Valley wine region you could spend hours or days driving around and enjoying this beautiful district.
Adjoining The Bunkhouse, we offer our Private Bedroom. The Private Bedroom is fitted with a double bed which come with two pillows, a cozy doona, a throw blanket plus a toasty hot water bottle.
The Private Bedroom is perfect for those who enjoy socializing but also having their ‘me time’.
There’s a direct door to the bathroom and all kitchen facilities are available and perfect for cooking up a feast!

The apartment has a flat screen TV, DVD player and assortment of movies to watch, if you’d like to just sit in and relax. You can simply sit surrounded by our beautiful gardens and trees and read a book or enjoy the novelty of observing or even having a horse riding lesson! The apartment is comfortable all year round, protected from the heat in summer, but snug during the cooler months with great heating. There is an under cover outdoor sitting area with BBQ and heater. Also being an equestrian property there is the opportunity to have a riding lesson or two on our wonderful school horses.
