Pony Club Australia Accredited Group Sessions for Non Horse Owners

Did you know that Avoca Park is one of the first riding centres in Victoria to be accredited by Pony Club Australia? This means that if you join Pony Club Australia as a Centre Member, you can work through PCA’s internationally-recognised syllabus which combines the best of tradition with the latest in science to help riders develop skills in horse riding, training, care and management. It provides a systematic program of mounted and unmounted activities for Avoca Park to structure our lessons, motivate our riders and celebrate their achievements. Our coaches will have access to PCA coaching manuals, lesson plans and other coaching support tools.

Avoca Park are honored to be one of just a few equestrian centres in Victoria, that have met the prestigious standards set by Pony Club Australia. This means we are now able to offer their PCA accredited course on Saturday and Sunday mornings during a term (on a weekly or fortnightly term plan). This will be replacing our Junior Rider Squad.

The PCA Syllabus consists of a range of certificates, starting at Certificate E working towards Certificate A.

Certificate E a will be 1.5 hour sessions.

Certificates D and higher will need to be held in the 2.5 hour sessions.

From the start of Term 3 we will commence E and D certificates for children wishing to partake in Pony Club. There is a registration fee to be come a PCA Accredited member, payable to Pony Club Victoria. The instructions on how to do this are on the right of this page (or at the bottom if you are accessing from your phone).
