Our Accommodation

We have 4 different accommodation options available. We have a single room with a single loft bed, perfect for the solo traveller or teenager needing their own space during a holiday.

We have an indulgent apartment with en suite, perfect for a romantic getaway.

We have a self contained Bunkhouse, with 2 bedrooms (1 double, and 1 with 4 bunk beds). The bunkhouse has its own kitchen, lounge, bathroom and can sleep up to 10 people.

Caravans or sleeping in your float. We do allow for onsite camping, with access to our shower/bathroom and fully equipped shared kitchen.

Avoca Park is a hidden gem conveniently located in Macclesfield, between Cockatoo and Emerald.

We are nestled within the picturesque Yarra Valley, renowned for its wine industry, and the Dandenong Ranges, which offer breathtaking vistas of lush bushland and exquisite tree-fern foliage.

We are blessed with so many wonderful locations nearby to fully entertain anyone visiting our beautiful location. We are proudly partnered with Puffing Billy Railway and also offer some amazing experiences on site if you are visiting us!

Puffing Billy Railway

Step back in time at Australia’s oldest and best-preserved heritage steam railway, Puffing Billy, situated in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges and only 60-minutes from Melbourne CBD.

With lush fern gullies brushing past the open side carriages and Mountain Ash trees towering overhead, Puffing Billy makes for a wonderful opportunity to relax and breathe in the fresh air whilst the train makes its way through the temperate rainforest.

Discover wonderful wildlife and spectacular landscapes made for adventure while sitting on the carriage sill of Puffing Billy’s open-side carriages; a truly iconic experience that cannot be found anywhere else in the world.

Located adjacent to Lakeside station sits Puffing Billy’s new state-of-the-art Lakeside Visitor Centre. Featuring a modern café with the best produce on offer in the region, a dedicated gift shop featuring locally designed treasures and a gallery of steam artifacts in the Lakeside Hall, the Visitor Centre offers guests a cultural hub with world class facilities. Open daily with free entry to passengers and visitors.

Our Memorial Reserve

Visitors are welcome to stroll along our wide tracks leading to our serene reserve sanctuary nestled amidst the heart of our rear paddocks. Created to honour the horses that have blessed Avoca Park over the decades.

This enchanting retreat boasts ornate windmills and inviting benches, providing an idyllic and tranquil vantage point to appreciate the peaceful scenery. Whether one wishes to relish in quiet contemplation, immerse oneself in a captivating book, or indulge in the pursuit of avian observation, with kookaburras, rosellas, fairy wrens, and rainbow lorikeets frequenting the area, this small reserve promises a serene and aesthetically pleasing experience.

While exploring the property, we hope you will take the opportunity to acquaint yourself with our wonderful companions, including our magnificent horses, loyal dogs, affectionate cats, and our beloved pair of donkeys, Johnny Simpson and Cuddles. This picturesque stroll is accompanied by the harmonious symphony of chirping birds and the occasional heartfelt bray from our endearing donkey duo.
